Also, she doesn't know if they're really looking for him in the first place. She could give them the list and they're like, "What is this? Why are you giving me this? Who is this guy? Why should we take care of him? How do you know he's trying to kill you? A twelve year old told you that?"

Regardless, why would Alex trust either of them? She's not trusting either of them, since they both were lying to her from the start. She's not talking about her father because she admires or respects him for who he is; only for what he was capable of is she comparing herself to him.
