Did you mean primary or secondary plot, instead of tertiary? Anyway, you're right; I forgot about the Alex finding her father plotline, but from what I recall that doesn't take up significant page space either.
The match would've been closer if Federer's match with del Potro hadn't become Isner/Mahut II. :p I couldn't catch much of the match because the streams sucked, but from what I understand Murray actually played differently and better, so good on him I guess. He may actually win a Grand Slam now. Disappointed that Djokovic seems to be regressing; maybe he'll find his form again next year.
Serena mauled everyone at this tournament, and for whatever reason Sharapova seems mentally unable to put up much of a fight against her. TBQH I think Azarenka deserved the silver more; Sharapova didn't really face anyone tough until the finals. But that's the way the cookie crumbles, as they say. After witnessing her performance, I'd give Serena about a 50/50 chance of winning 5 more Grand Slams and thus passing Navritalova and Evert. And then there will forever be debates about whether she or Steffi Graf was the best female player ever, lol.
(Apologies to Inverarity for spending more time talking about tennis than about AQ in this post...)
