Don't give up without even trying. Not after all the work you've put into that novel. Just don't let it discourage you if it isn't accepted. Even if you don't manage to get it published you might learn a few things in the attempt that will be useful for the next novel. And then again, maybe you can get it published. You'll never know, if you don't try.
