Since you are not selling those books, make life simple and produce a5 or half letter paged pdfs, which we can either read in a browser, on an ebook reader, or print out. In fact, I once produced a pdf of your HHD and had a single copy printed through lulu, which I then brought home to my significant other, to introduce her to fanfic. I plan on doing the same for all three AQ books once book three is finished (I find book two too creepy to print out when the third book isn't available yet).

Also, since you do perl, you could easily code for perl to produce the pdf according to your specifications.
