Could I have been wrong?

I read this many years ago, thought it was well-written but that it had little to offer that Robert A. Heinlein hadn't done way back in If this goes on — (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_This_Goes_On%E2%80%94) circa 1940.

Your review has convinced me I need to give it another look-see.
