I was a instant fan after viewing season 1 of The Expanse. I devoured all of their books, much like i did AQ. The Duarte arc was kind of fluid in both good and bad. For starters we didnt get to see Daurte in the books till just about if not a little more than halfway through the series. I found his introduction a bit sparse and odd. Later we see him as the big bad a$$, and that kind of left me feeling..."meh, i hope he gets off'd in an epic fashion" i could not care more for him. It was good that we had a new villain, but i found Marco Inaros' death....more poetic and satisfying than Duarte's. I honestly got a but lost in the final 2 books, plot wise and had to re read them both to finally connect the dots. Does the end fit? I think so...though i wish Amos would've been there for most of it. He was my favorite character. Bobby was cool, but Amos was a complete bad a$$! "You're not that guy....*door shuts*....but I AM!" I hope the authors can get together and write some more books post LF, maybe even get into the gate builders history, the unknown agressors beef with them, and how humanity could benefit with new technologies. I know, far fetched, but there really isnt any good fiction these days to fight my boredom. Anyway...enough of this novella. Hope AQ is going well. Im patiently waiting for the next book. Peace out
