Yeah, the play was made in 1903 where Antisemitism was pretty much normalized in company, so I try not to hold it against her, even though it was horrible for me as a kid. It was the first time I had encountered true Antisemitism. I was all of eight and was already planning to join the League and was very upset that I wouldn't be exactly welcomed.
My wonderful mother rented the movie and made me feel better. She told me that Leslie Howard, the definitive Sir Percy was born Leslie Howard Steiner, so I could still pretend to be one.
And yeah...I wonder why they leave that out...hehe.
