The Quick Mini-Con was fun. Great to meet a few of you, and we shall probably do it again next year. Don't worry, I deleted the incriminating photographs.

So naturally, when Harry Potter fans get together, conversation inevitably turns to really inane geeky Harry Potter things, and we talked about which Houses the AQ characters would be sorted into if they went to Hogwarts.

(Side note: This is never going to happen. I usually don't lay down any absolutes about possible spoilery future events or non-events, but Alexandra is never, ever, ever going to Hogwarts, not even to visit. And while I don't swear that there will never be any cameos by canon characters, if you're waiting for the meeting between Alexandra and Harry, you will be waiting until the end of time.)

Anyway, despite the fact that none of my AQ characters will ever go to Hogwarts, I of course have pondered which Houses they would be sorted into if they did go to Hogwarts.

So first a poll. You all can vote where you think each character belongs. In a future post I will give you the "canon" answer insofar as the author's opinion is canon.

AQATSA Progress

Alas, magic number 42 is no more. We are now down to 41 chapters, and I am pretty sure at least one more will be condensed out of the TOC. The current word count is just over 258K words.
