Sequel?

I just finished reading this and I must say its a wonderfully written story.

Are you planning to write a sequel to this anytime in the future? I would love to read a sequel. The characters are very well developed and the story is well thought out.

Thank you very much. I do plan to write a sequel someday, but I can't tell you when.

Hope it will be sooner rather than later :)

Anyways thanks again for such a great story.

Sequel!

What a fantastic story. Brilliant characterizations & dialogue and a very persuasive & engaging next generation world. I guess I'd be in a minority but as great as Alexandra Quick is I thought this was better. I think I read on the Fanon wiki that a sequel was expected after Alex Quick 3, but that's obviously not accurate. All I can do is beg.

Please please please write more House Divided. Six more sequels would be ideal. Anyway, great writing.

Thank you. A sequel is definitely being contemplated, but six sequels are not likely, I'm afraid.

I don't know if you have ever heard of Mark Oshiro (of Mark Reads fame) but someone recently got him to read Chapter 1 of Hogwarts Houses Divided and it is posted on youtube. Just thought I would mention it ;)

As I see you're contemplating a sequel, I figured I'd extend the offer: if you ever need a beta reader/editor for your sequel, I'm definitely open and would love to lend a hand. Hope to hear from you!

Thanks for the offer, though I have plenty of betas for now. :)

I do want to write a sequel someday, but right now most of my writing goes into original fiction or the Alexandra Quick series.

Ah, no problem. Well, if you ever need a beta for the AQ series, I'm also open. :)

Good evening Inverarity,

I thought I'd pop in here and let you know that our podcast, PotterFicWeekly, just finished the last of several episodes covering - and enjoying - this story. That's recording, not releasing - we record on a buffer so [livejournal.com profile] sueatducksfoot has time to edit. This one was great fun, so thanks for writing! I've started reading your AQ series because of it.

If you'd like to hear lightly- or fully-edited versions of the podcasts before they're released, we're glad to do that; if you have any questions, comments, or corrections, you can email them to us, comment to one of us here, post on our forum, or even come on the podcast for an author interview if you'd like. We're always glad to have authors respond if that's something that interests you.

You can find us at PotterFicWeekly.com, PotterFicForum.com, or the Facebook group Poufwa. Thanks again for writing this. We enjoyed it a lot!

I am not very sure whether you read reviews in Goodreads but I just wanted to let you know how amazed I am by the story and I will copy my review here too.

"I rarely translate my reviews but I translate this one in hope that the Author reads it and it will brighten the day. As a writer myself, I do know how one positive review can keep you floating on Cloud 9 for weeks.

I am very picky when it comes to reading fanfics. Especially when the story has to fill such huge shoes as the world of Harry Potter. As a big fan of Harry Potter I have read some fanfics but I have reread and kept in my memories only one - "Take My Heart Away". I didn't really believe I could find something as good as that was and then I stumbled upon "Hogwarts Houses Divided" and was just swept off my feet.

Of course, one can be surprised whether a fanfic is a book or not but for me - it is. It has a story. It had characters who pulled me along in their world. It had moments where I wanted to laugh out loud and then cry... Of course the Author has changed the wizarding world a bit (Where's McGonagall? Can ghosts really go on? Can magic in you really go away?) but it didn't matter as all those were still logical. And all this how we blame the kids of the mistakes their parents made... it's painfully true in the world we are living in also.

The adventures (although... it's not the right word, Cho Chang would be furious) of Teddy Lupin and his friends are something they didn't expect and the consequences are in some case just horrible. But it did take me back to the world of Harry Potter, that I miss and love more than words can say. Thank you! THANK YOU for writing such an amazing story and letting us read it."
