... clearly you have not been reading most of what is being published these days. ;) Well, the Amazon book reviewers will certainly crush the E.L. Jameses of the world, but if all you want is to be published, not to be universally liked or praised (and really, even King, Heinlein, etc. have their detractors), then your own inner standards of excellence will suffice.
