"Have sex with me even though I'm obnoxious and don't particularly love you." Yes, and notice that the "obnoxious" and "don't particularly love you" part well describes the attitudes of a lot of protagonists of both Heinlein's and other stories set in Free Love Futures.

In the warmer, fuzzier version of this the obnoxious protagonist really does love his love interest, despite the fact that the way he approaches her and she responds to him, nine times out of ten in the real world he would be signalling that he didn't really love her and she that she was gullible. This may actually be worse for what it teaches fans, since it sets them up for rejection (on the part of men) and heartbreak (on the part of women).
