Have you read "The Hours" by Michael Cunningham, or seen the film with Nicole Kidman?
I'm only asking because I trudged through "Mrs. Dalloway" and ultimately disliked it. But afterward I read (and watched) "The Hours" and enjoyed noticing the connections.
