I read this a few months ago. Penny's friends could have been more interesting; they felt a little bland compared to Penny and some of the side characters like Lucyfar, Claudia, etc. The plot was entertaining, though, and the action scenes were amazing. Hopefully we'll learn more about her friends in the sequel.
