Anyhoow, I assume you read 2 "jagermeister stations" books, also. IMO, in the 2-nd book ending he really let it show how it felt.
Also, recommend his "Main" about a police leftenant in Montreal in 70-s, really a couple of boards to keep your head up as we all go down the stream. You die after.
Back when I was reading them novels it all came so real, the spy games, double-crosses, shady dealings, strong men in suits rumpled after an excersize of dispatching enemies and embracing friends of power who would betray with different allies afterwards. And so on.
Well, as I am a more seasoned pocket-book reader still gullible for an easy take, what would you recommend detective side of ScFi or fantasy.
