I will be very interested to read your take on Vampire$.
I really enjoyed Armor, but the first time I read it I was pretty thrown by the change of POV in the middle. Also, when I read Armor it was during that period of time when I was discovering "modern" sci-fi - Gibson, Vinge, etc. I had been raised on my Dad's old Asimov, Clarke, and Heinlein novels, and the newer stuff really blew my mind. So maybe I am remembering Armor as better than it really is.
