AQATSA is at 266K words now. I am about halfway through Chapter 45, and Chapter 46 should be the last chapter. I expect them both to be relatively short chapters. I've just been having the damndest hard time putting my butt in the chair and writing. Part of this is because I've just undergone some very major and stressful events.

Also, I've recently learned that I am literally a minion of Satan, so I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you that I'm not quite going to make my July 31 deadline for a finished first draft. Sadly, my dedication to corrupting the morals of all who come in contact with me and perverting truth and goodness had to come first.

Anyway, I had no creative ideas for teasers or pictures, so you'll just have to settle for another Wordle, this one unfiltered, with all 266K words tallied up.

Interesting Wordle. I see Alexandra's friends probably will be playing a larger role in this book - David and Forbearance are as big as Charlie, with Constance only slightly smaller and Anna even larger. Also interesting - Maximilian is very small, so I'm guessing he only gets mentioned a few times. Also also interesting - Hecate and Navajo. I am looking forward to reading it when it's finished.

A few incidental things:
-I read Blood Done Sign My Name, because of your review. It was very good!
-I'm in the process of reading Cory Doctorow's new book, For The Win. A basic description of the book would be "unionized gold farmers." It is also very good, and I highly recommend it, especially since, as you know, he lets people download it for free. Plus, most of the major characters are non-white people from the Third World, which is always nice.

What was said is that you are so steeped in the unhistorical prejudice and self-inflicted ignorance that is the default position of the media in our time, that at least one of your reviews managed to do a thorough and utterly repulsive job of justifying evil and treating your ancestors as monsters.
