Interesting Wordle. I see Alexandra's friends probably will be playing a larger role in this book - David and Forbearance are as big as Charlie, with Constance only slightly smaller and Anna even larger. Also interesting - Maximilian is very small, so I'm guessing he only gets mentioned a few times. Also also interesting - Hecate and Navajo. I am looking forward to reading it when it's finished.

-I read Blood Done Sign My Name, because of your review. It was very good!
-I'm in the process of reading Cory Doctorow's new book, For The Win. A basic description of the book would be "unionized gold farmers." It is also very good, and I highly recommend it, especially since, as you know, he lets people download it for free. Plus, most of the major characters are non-white people from the Third World, which is always nice.

Perverting truth and justice is harder than it might seem at first glance. Best of luck to you! :D

There is a difference, fbp, between "views" and bigotry. There is a difference between disagreement about politics, religion, philosophy, etc., and disagreement about whether or not minorities should be afforded full human rights.

And I think that's often the case with any group of people. Most of the group are decent human beings who don't harass others over simple disagreements. We don't hear much from them.

You went to infamous polemicist and bigot John C. Wright, who has a very large, belligerent following, and asked him to perform a "strafing run" on my blog. (You did not merely "mention" my review - talk about dishonest!) You tried to stir up a dogpile on me (based on a typically dishonest misstatement of my views), and dare to come back here and call me a coward. I never even mentioned you and have never, ever encouraged anyone to cause you grief.

So, you got me again. I couldn't resist reading your version of events when the pingback bot notified me.

Almost every word of that post is a lie and you know it. The irony is, even until now, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and willing to believe you really do see things the way you claim to see them. But the very careful way in which you have twisted and misrepresented our exchanges is too precise and detailed and willful to be simply a difference in perception.

You're a liar and you should be ashamed. It's funny you use the word "projection." That, I think, really is simply unselfaware irony on your part.

And to make it crystal clear to anyone else -- I have never, ever asked, hinted, suggested, insinuated, or desired that anyone go to
