Alexandra Quick and the Stars Above

Alexandra Quick and the Stars Above is the fourth book in the Alexandra Quick series.

Alexandra has discovered the dark secret at the heart of the Confederation, survived a visit to the Lands Beyond, and been given seven years to live. Now she's determined to cheat her fate and see justice done. Standing in her way is a vengeful conspiracy and secrets even she is not prepared for. She'll need the help of her friends and loved ones, but even that may not be enough against the power of the Stars Above.

I first got interested in your writing when I read Hogwarts House Divided, I was like here's a good writer, then I read AQATTC, and since I'm a total bibliophile I had to read AQATLB, AQATDR, and I just finished reading AQATSA, so on the fourth book I have to say the first three books were really good so compared to them honestly it was kind of slow, I really liked the end chapters the best thats where my interest was peaked again, the other chapters were just Alexandra studying, hearing warnings and info from the "A.C.," dances and her being mean/snooty/bratty to every guy,and nothing was really happening, still I believe you have the whole "leave a reader wanting more" thing down, because I honestly dont think I can wait to read the next one I just hope Alex grows up, because as a person thats been through alot shes still really immature, and I see you attempt to show that change when she goes with Brian at the end....Anyway good luck with the next book, if you ever need someone to do some beta type work feel free to contact me, there were errors in your writing but not to major to not get the gist of it :)
-p.s. Any Book Series is my drug, I cant get enough even if they become boring I stick with them-in your case I hope not

Okay, so I've had this idea for ages, about Alex going to Hogwarts. Especially since you did the whole sorting of where the charries would end up if they did go to Hogwarts. I know you've said you'll never ever have Alex go to Hogwarts, but I was wondering if I could write a fanfic of it. It's even better considering she's expelled from Charmbridge and all the other schools are being destroyed and whatnot,so please can I write a fic about your fic(Ficception) I promise to give you full credit naturally. Thank you for your time, and I love your stories, they're awesome.

My feeling is that fan fiction authors don't really have the right to tell other people not to write fanfic of their fanfic. So, go ahead - I'd be interested to read it.

But "canon" Alexandra is never going to Hogwarts. :P

Damn I love your work.

I've read all of the AQ books thus far, and it's insanely good. I REALLY hope that the 5th one is done before next year.

Yeah, unfortunately the place I was hosting my ebooks decided they would no longer allow fan fiction downloads. I will try to get them posted somewhere else soon.

Ok, it is Nov. 2017..any more A. Quick tales???

Did life get in the way of writing more of this story? :-( I so enjoyed the Alexandra Quick tales and hope there may be more coming...

Life did get in the way of writing. But the story is (slowly, very slowly) being worked on.

I never got round

to telling you how much I loved your Quick-series. I read it over a year ago and therefore my memory isn't really fresh, but I was completely mindblown by the amazing universe you built. I absolutely loved how your entwined politics and history into your version of magical America (I'm still hoping for a revolution and not one failed coup attempt ...). It's most definitely better than what Rowling made up for the US with Ilvermorny.
All your characters and your character development were so, so good.
So since I never reviewed the story as I was reading it on my ebook-reader, I thought I should at least leave some comment. Since finishing the books I check from time to time whether there was any new development. I'll be patient and I hope you can still find the enthusiasm to finish the story at some point. I'm looking forward to re-reading everything again when you do :)

Thanks so much - for reading my stories, and for your patience as my next book lingers in the why-can't-I-sit-down-and-write? doldrums. I do appreciate every comment and review.
