Illustration acted as a spoiler and I basically 'knew' there would be a hag in this chapter and in the candy factory when it was introduced.. I like how naked she feels without her wand. Liked the picture of Constance and Forbearance sent. It's telling. Liked how Brian is curious and is really trying to be a friend, and how Brian's Mom's rule creates a girl/guy awareness that they didn't have when they were younger.
Okay, we know Alex will not be eaten by the hag. This is good.
