Well, I don't want to compare myself too much to Rowling (I'm already being accused of writing things as a "Take that, Jo!" :/), but I agree with shinygobonkers that Rowling's teenagers weren't very realistic. If you prefer a near-absence of any sexuality, I can respect that, but while I hope my stories also feature heroism, moral choices, and the role of authority figures, my characters are not going to be quite as chaste as Rowling's.
