Ha! I'd forgotten about that Onion article. The "quote" from Rowling at the end is golden.

Alan Moore is an odd fellow, but I did enjoy the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books and their Century follow-ups. Even though I didn't get half the references in the latter.

Eh, I can't get arsed over a parody, even a mean-spirited one, as long as it's cleverly done. We'll see if he manages to pull it off.
