AQATWA: Maybe I should do a Hobbit

You know, break it into three parts?

I am not serious. I take the plotting too seriously (and have too many concerns about it) to release any part of the story until I've plotted it all the way to the end.

Anyway, I am almost finished with Part I. 23 chapters and 114K words. Eeee.

(And yes, I know I should do another AQ Reread post. Between book reviews and trying to actually write the next AQ book, and tinkering with a new original manuscript, well. Oh yeah, and I have to go to work, too. Darn mortgage.)

I'd be cool with that, as long as you don't try to pull a "Dance With Dragons". Or anything George RR Martin-y from after A Storm of Swords.

I cannot wait. I always struggle with my childish love for long fantasy series. I honestly didn't mind that each Harry Potter book or Wheel of Time book got fatter with each release! So write on, write on! But also plot on, plot on! (Not that I'm worried).
