So I guess witches are the next big thing?
Here is a gorgeous new piece of fan art. Y'all do love Charlie, don't you?

So, I got about 1000 words written tonight. Alexandra has gotten into her next spot of trouble.
I mentioned a while ago that Alexandra did a bad, bad thing. What kind of trouble do you think Alexandra is going to get into? Here's a poll — guess what Alexandra will do in AQATWA!
(Hint: at least one of these things will actually happen.)

Date: 2014-02-03 01:37 pm (UTC)- breaking and entering
- assault govt officials
- run away
- violate statute of secrecy
- tamper with magic laws
... because hasn't she done all of those in every book?
Plus:
- drive a car without a license, because she's already messed with cars and it seems a boy-howdy thing to do
- commit murder, because I think you've been hinting at it quite a lot and I think you'll need a couple of books to work out the repercussions.
I decided against starting a war/toppling a government (I'd think the latter would certainly cause the former), although I was tempted, because I figure you don't want to stretch the war out over two books, and it makes more sense for her to start it at the end of the 6th book so you can deal with it during the course of the 7th book and have the grande finale resolving both the war and her personal journey. Like in the HP books.
I decided against her getting killed for the same reason, that I think it's too early in the series for that. I know you've also hinted at that, but I think if you do it, it will come in the last book. And it won't be permanent. :)
I also decided against her losing her virginity because I somehow like the symbolism of her being the leader of a movement or some kind of saviour or touchstone as a virgin. Although I can see how making her more involved with someone romantically would also be an attractive option story-wise, giving her more weak spots as well as more opportunities for betrayal. But I'm going with virgin!Alex for the time being.
